FAQ
Are they really free for commercial use?
Yes. Letterbench Lite is MIT-licensed: use it in commercial products and client work, no attribution needed in the emails you send.
What do I need to build them?
Node 18+. npm install mjml@4 and node build.js for the MJML edition; cd react && npm install && node render.mjs for React Email.
Which email providers do they work with?
Any that accepts HTML, or renders Handlebars (Postmark, SendGrid dynamic templates, Amazon SES). The React edition renders to HTML and text in your code, or goes straight to Resend.
What is in the paid kit?
14 more templates (magic link, password changed, receipt, failed payment, trial ending, cancellation, team invite, usage alert, account deleted, onboarding checklist, feature announcement, weekly summary, NPS survey, win-back), sending examples, a gallery and 102 screenshots. From £29.
